Namay--Natamycin (E235) is a natural anti-fungal product which is produced by a pure culture
of Streptomyces spp. following a strictly controlled fermentation process. Natamycin inhibits
not only the growth of various moulds and yeasts,but also the production of their toxins. It can
greatly extend the shelf-life of cheese, baked food, meat and beverage products.
 

Natamycin  can be used for cheese, meat products, broth, moon cakes, pastries, juices, jams, jellies, marinated products, moldy foods, and the surface of processed utensils.
In addition, Natamycin is used to treat fungal infections, including Candida, Aspergillus, Cephalosporium, Fusarium and Penicillium. Natamycin is applied topically as a cream in a lozenge.
