Product Description

Pullulan
Pullulan is an exopolysaccharide produced by fermentation using aureobasidium pullulans. It is water-soluble and its water solution is highly stable. It has a great mouthfeel and low calories. It is widely used in food field as a thickener and a glazing agent.


·Glazing agent, coated on the surface of aquatic products or fruits to improve the luster.
·Thickening property:Pullulan thickening property is stable, not affected by temperature or pH changes, does not get gelled, and is often used to thicken the sauces.

ε-polylysine
ε-polylysine (ε-polylysine) is a bacteriostatic peptide produced by Streptomyces albicans by aerobic fermentation, with molecular weight between 3500 ~ 5000, usually used as food preservative. It has a wide antimicrobial spectrum, good heat resistance, and wide pH range adaptions and other advantages.

·Wide antibacterial spectrum: ε-polylysine has a good inhibitory effect on bacteria, mold and yeast.
·Good heat resistance: With 120ºC treatment for 20 minutes, the antibacterial effect is still stable.
·Good water solubility: Easy to use, does not affect the food flavor.
·Applicable to a wide pH range: Antibacterial effect is good at PH 3-9.

Namay® Natamycin (E235) is a natural anti-fungal product which is produced by a pure culture of Streptomyces spp. following a strictly controlled fermentation process. Natamycin inhibits not only the growth of various moulds and yeasts, but also the production of their toxins. It can greatly extend the shelf-life of cheese, baked food, meat and beverage products.
